Job Summary


  • HRLeverage is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Technical Specialist to manage the technical and compliance aspects of payroll operations
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll system configuration, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing, maintaining statutory compliance, and supporting payroll system integrations and reporting.
  • This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain payroll systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule, including salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including tax, pension, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Generate payroll reports for management, finance, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage payroll system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless payroll integration and operations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in payroll administration with strong technical/system exposure.
  • Experience working with payroll systems such as SAP, Workday, Oracle, ADP, Sage, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and statutory regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS and ERP integrations.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capability.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
